Important information regarding the terms & conditions and are policy's and procedures we require from are customers at all times so by engaging with our services, you the customer agree to abide by the terms & conditions and the policy's & procedures that is requested by us and outlined in this document and any other document that applies to the customer that is stated on terms and conditions and within quote/invoice provided.

 

Service Terms

 

Policy's & Procedures 

 

Clean Air Zone (CAZ) Terms

 

Due to clean air zones charges we now have to add these charges to the customers quotes/invoices.

 

If the customer lives in a clean air zone then this will apply to customer and will be down to customer to make sure the clean air zone charge/charges is paid on time for us to be able to cover are vehicle/vehicles so we don't occur any fines.

 

Clean air zone i.e. (CAZ) charges must be paid every time we either attend a quote or attending work. unless stated otherwise in the quote/invoice.

 

If the customer haven't paid us to be able to pay the charge for (CAZ)  before attending a quote then the quote will be cancelled and not attended.

 

If the payment for (CAZ) charge/charges haven't been paid within the requested time and this causes additional fine/costs then the additional costs will be charged to customer. Also the customer will be charged a further 20% administration fee which is calculated by the additional fine/costs given. And the work will be stopped with immediate affect until the fine and additional costs is paid in full by the customer and  within the time requested.

 

If this is not paid within the time requested then the customer will be charged a further 20% administration fee also a 10% late payment charge and then job will be terminated and the outstanding balance will still have to be paid in full by the customer.

 

With living in ( CAZ ) areas we charge £10 Per day / per vehicle.

 

( so please make sure all clean air zone charge or charges are paid on time when we ask so you don't occur any fines or additional costs. )

 

Securing Date Deposit Terms

 

We require a securing date deposit at all times to secure the customers booking, We strive to ensure transparency and fairness in all financial transactions.

 

With securing date deposit this will guarantee the date the customer is booked in for also with the securing date deposit this is deducted of either fixed price, day rate or hourly rate depending on what is agreed so this is not a added cost but a deducted cost giving you peace of mind.

 

Securing date deposit is non-refundable if for some reason the customer needs to cancel or if the customer have breached either are terms & conditions or our policys and procedures then the job will be terminated.

 

By paying a securing date deposit and engaging with our services, you the customer agree to abide by the terms & conditions and the policys and procedures outlined in this document and any other document that applies to the customer that is stated on terms and conditions and policys & procedures and within quote/invoice provided.

 

Securing date deposit is not a fixed price and can vary on price depending on size of job.

 

Suppling Materials & Material Deposit terms

 

DEPOSIT TERMS

We require a material deposit at all times before work proceeding to cover all materials required needed for the job In the event of having to wait on delivery or cancellation.

 

material deposit must be paid 72hrs prior to start of work unless stated otherwise in the quote/invoice if not paid within the time requested then the job would be cancelled and the customer will lose the date that the customer was booked in for also the customer will lose there securing date deposit as well.

 

SUPPLING MATERIAL TERMS

As we are happy to supply all materials needed if required all we ask is that the customer use the materials and products recommended by us. if the customer wants to use other products and materials not recommended by us then that's fine but the customer would have to supply all materials needed and the customer will not be eligible for warranty for any materials not recommended by us.

 

If more materials is required than originally stated due to something was missed then the extra cost for materials would be charged to the customer and this would need to be paid before work continuing. If the materials need to be delivered then the delivery charge will be charged to the customer as well to the quote/invoice.

However due to something being missed If the materials can be collected then there won't be a charge for fuel/time to collect the materials.

 

If more materials is required than originally stated or needed due to customer adding work to the job than originally planned or if more work is needed than originally planned due to problems found then the extra cost for materials would need to be paid before work proceeding.

 

Also if the materials need to be delivered then the delivery charge will be charged to the customer but if the materials can be collected then there will be a charge for fuel and time to collect the materials. This will be discussed & agreed with the customer prior to work proceeding.

 

If charge is not accepted by the customer for collection or delivery then the remaining materials needed will be left down to the customer to collect before work continuing.

 

Unfortunately we either  supply all materials needed for the job or we don't supply materials needed for the job unless the materials the customer have supplied is what we would  recommend then this would be fine. 

 

Any materials that has been paid by the customer and supplied by TOLLYS Decorating and Handyman Services belong to TOLLYS Decorating and Handyman Services until outstanding balance is paid in full by the customer.

 

 

Free Quote Terms

 

As we know making decisions for a quote or anything that's going to cost money can be difficult but they also can lead to beautiful destinations.

 

Any charges due to requirements that applies to the customer will have to be paid before attending quote if not then the quote will be cancelled and not attended.

 

If the customer is located within a 40 miles drive from bath BA2 1PR area then attending the quote would be free depending on scope of job etc & requirements that applies to the customer. If the requirements doesn't apply to the customers area then the quote would be free.

 

If the customer is located more than 40 miles+ drive from bath BA2 1PR area then unfortunately the quote wont be free and will be charged starting at £30 depending of scope of job or requirements that applies to the customer.

 

If the scope of job is worth less than £250 but with a 40+ miles drive then the quote wont be free and will be charged starting at £30 depending of scope of job or requirements that applies to the customer.

 

Maximum distance we cover at the moment is 80 miles drive from bath BA2 1PR area unfortunately if the customer is more than 80 miles drive away we cant help until further notice.

 

Paid parking & Parking Permit Terms

 

PARKING PERMITS

If the customer lives in area that needs a permit to park then this will be down to the customer to make sure the permit is valid and done correctly for are vehicle/vehicles to have a permit to park at all times including attending a quote.

 

If the permit is not valid for any reason and this causes us to have fine/fines because the vehicle/vehicles didn't have a valid permit to park then the parking fine/fines will be charged to the customer including a further 20% administration fee which is calculated from the fine/fines given and you will be given 5 days to pay the fine/fines  from the date the fine/fines was received. Also work will be stopped with immediate affect until outstanding parking permit charge/charges and additional costs is paid in full by the customer within the time requested.

 

If parking permit  charge/charges and additional costs hasn't still been paid in full and within the requested time then the customer will receive a further 20% administration fee and a 10% late payment charge which will be calculated by the increased parking permit charge/charges given. Also the job will be terminated and outstanding balance will still have to be paid in full by the customer.

 

PAID PARKING 

if we need to pay for parking then this would be down to the customer to make sure they have paid us to be able to pay the parking so are vehicle/vehicles have valid parking at all times either attending a quote or attending work.

 

If we are attending a quote then paid parking must be paid prior to attending quote if not then quote will be cancelled and not attended.

 

Paid parking must be paid every day prior to attending job unless stated otherwise in the quote/invoice. If the parking hasn't been paid daily before attending work or if agreed and hasn't been paid after job completion depending what was agreed/stated in the quote/invoice then the parking charge/charges will increase an additional cost and the customer will be charged a 20% administration fee which is calculated from the charge/charges given. Also work will be stopped with immediate affect until outstanding parking charge/charges and additional costs is paid in full within the time requested.

 

If parking charge/charges and additional costs hasn't still been paid in full and within the requested time then the customer will receive a further 20% administration fee and a 10% late payment charge which will be calculated by the increased parking charge/charges given. Also the job will be terminated and outstanding balance will still have to be paid in full.

 

 

Payment and Refund Terms

 

PAYMENTS

( with payments we only accept cash or bank transfer we do not accept any other form of payment. )

 

HOURLY RATE PAYMENT TERMS

If the customer requires a quote for hourly rate then this will need to be paid as soon as the required amount of hours has been completed.

 

If the payment hasn't been paid within 24hrs of completing the required amount of hours then the customer will receive a free reminder and 24hrs to pay the outstanding balance.

 

if the outstanding balance isn't paid within the 24 hrs given from receiving the free reminder then a further reminder will be sent with an additional 20% administration fee which will be charged to the customer and this will be calculated from the amount of hours given and any further work will be stopped until the outstanding balance is paid in full by the customer.

 

if the outstanding balance still hasn't been paid in full by the customer then the customer will be charged a further 20% administration fee including a 10% late payment charge also any the further work to be completed will be terminated.

 

DAY RATE PAYMENT TERMS

If the customer requires a quote for day rate then this will need to be paid as soon as the provided amount of hours has been completed.

 

If the payment hasn't been paid within 24hrs of completing the required amount of hours then the customer will receive a free reminder and 24hrs to pay the outstanding balance.

 

if the outstanding balance isn't paid in full by the customer within the 24 hrs given from receiving the free reminder then a further reminder will be sent with an additional 20% administration fee that will be charged to the customer which is then calculated from the amount of hours given and any further work will be stopped until the outstanding balance is paid in full by the customer.

 

if the outstanding balance still hasn't been paid then the customer will be charged a further 20% administration fee including a 10% late payment charge also any the further work to be completed will be terminated.

 

FIXED PRICE PAYMENT TERMS

If the customer requires a quote for a fixed price then the outstanding balance will need to be paid as soon as the job is completed unless stated otherwise in the quote/invoice.

 

If the payment hasn't been paid within 24hrs of completing the job then the customer will receive a free reminder and 24hrs to pay the outstanding balance.

 

if the outstanding balance isn't paid in full by the customer within the 24 hrs given from receiving the free reminder then a further reminder will be sent with an additional 20% administration fee that will be charged to the customer which is calculated from the amount of days given and any further work will be stopped until the outstanding balance is paid in full by the customer.

 

if the outstanding balance still hasn't been paid in full by the customer then the customer will be charged a further 20% administration fee including a 10% late payment charge also any the further work to be completed will be terminated.

 

REFUNDS

If we need to cancel the job for some reason that is not the customers fault then securing date deposit and material deposit will be refunded.

 

Material deposit is refundable by cash or bank transfer only if materials hasn't been paid and ordered before requesting your material deposit back. but If the materials has already been ordered and you require your material deposit back then you will receive the materials instead of a cash or bank transfer refund.

 

But that's only if you collect from a collection point that will be provided by us and you will have 7 days from when you received the collection point address to be able to collect your materials if you don't collected the materials within the 7days given you will not be eligible for a refund and you will lose your materials.

 

Securing date deposit is non-refundable ( except if we wish to cancel. )

 

Cancel & Terminated Terms 

 

Discount Terms

 

With discounts they are automatically deducted from the quote/invoice provided.

 

With standard discount this applies to all. ( no requirements needed to be eligible to a 5% discount. )

 

With a OAP/Emergency service discount at 10% this only applies to anyone over the age of 65 years of age or that has served in the emergency services.

 

With a loyalty discount at 15% this applies to a customer that we would have done 3 separate jobs for and the customer would have left 3 separate reviews on our website to be eligible for a loyalty discount.

 

Liability and Warranty Terms

 

While we take every precaution to deliver satisfactory results, we cannot guarantee outcomes beyond our control. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. Additionally, we offer a warranty on our workmanship to provide peace of mind to our customers.

 

We can only guarantee a warranty for workmanship if all recommendations given by us is obeyed and followed correctly and also if there is no breach of terms & conditions and policy's & procedures that is required or recommended by us.

 

Also we can only give warranty to materials we have recommended. ( warranty is not covered for materials not recommended by us.)

 

Warranty duration depends on scope of job. If warranty is required you must request warranty and wait for feedback confirming duration of warranty before paying any securing date deposit for the warranty cover to be eligible.
